Prof. Dr. Žarko Obradović is the Ambassador - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE and Other International Organizations in Vienna. He is a professor at the Faculty of Security of the University of Belgrade. He was the Minister of Education, Science and Technology in the Government of the Republic of Serbia from 2008 to 2013. He served as a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from 2001 to 2008, as well as from 2014 to 2022. He held the position of President of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from 2016 to 2022. He was a member of the Parliamentary delegations of the Republic of Serbia to the Parliamentary Assemblies of the OSCE and Council of Europe.
He was born in 1960. He completed his undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, at the Department of International Studies.
He is married, the father of two daughters.
